Drenched In Rain
Overview
“Drenched in Rain” was a true masterclass in collaborative textile and fashion production. Stepping into the role of Lead Designer, the biggest takeaway wasn’t just about directing a vision, it was about creating an environment where our collective ideas could thrive. Because a fashion production cycle is completely interlinked, we quickly realized that even a tiny communication gap could stall a pattern layout or delay final construction. By keeping communication open and respectful, our team of four synchronized our individual strengths flawlessly. This project allowed us to take everything we learned in the classroom—from creative concept development and software skills to public speaking and apply it directly to a fast paced, real world industry scenario.
While I had the privilege of bringing our concept to life visually through the final sketches and video production, the soul of this collection came from a dedicated team moving in perfect harmony.
